Dr Luke Nicholls

Specialist Areas

Dr Nicholls is a Radiation Oncologist based at the Radiation Oncology Princess Alexandra Hospital, Raymond Terrace (ROPART) campus. He subspecialises in prostate and urogenital cancers, head and neck cancers and has a special interest in stereotactic radiotherapy.  

Education

Dr Nicholls competed his medical degree at the University of Queensland and went on to complete his specialty training in Radiation Oncology in Queensland. He then completed a prostate cancer fellowship at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London and a stereotactic fellowship at Icon Cancer Centre, Greenslopes.

Research & Publications

Dr Nicholls has several peer reviewed publications on topics including lung cancer, prostate cancer, stereotactic radiotherapy and medical education. He is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and is an examiner with Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR). In addition, he is a reviewer for the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology (JMIRO) and Journal of Medical Radiation Sciences (JMRS).
