Mask Making
In order to ensure the accuracy of your radiation treatment, it is important to keep your head perfectly still. To assist with this, a customized mask will be created specifically for you. This mask will be used during each of your treatment sessions.
Face Mask
Your mask will be made from bendable plastic, which we’ll first warm to soften so we can shape it around your head and neck. The mask has holes for breathing and will harden once cooled. The entire process takes about 15 minutes.
Head & Shoulder Pillow
If you need one, we will make a special beanbag pillow for you. The pillow is shaped by sucking out the air and molding it to fit your body, ensuring proper positioning for the treatment.
