As radiation oncology nurses, we aim to provide holistic, person centred care to empower you during your treatment so you feel supported and in control of your health.


What we do

As radiation oncology nurses, we help you by:

  • Providing you with a primary care nurse who will coordinate your care during your radiation therapy

  • Scheduling regular check-ups to assess treatment side effects

  • Providing education on what to expect during radiation therapy

  • Giving you strategies on how to manage the symptoms of your cancer

  • Giving you strategies in how to manage any side effects of your treatment

  • Providing you with referrals to our allied health team

  • Being available in person and by phone to provide support and advice

You can approach us at any time for nursing care and treatment advice. We are on level A beside the reception desk.

Our care continues after your treatment has finished. So, we encourage you to contact us if you have any concerns even after your treatment is finished. 

If you have any questions or concerns about your treatment you can contact the Radiation Oncology Nurses by phone Mon-Fri, 7am – 9pm.
