Radiation Therapists

Radiation therapists are healthcare professionals who strive to deliver personalized, accurate, safe, and effective radiation therapy to our patients.

What we do

Radiation therapists play vital roles in various areas of the radiation oncology department. They work closely with your radiation oncologist to design and administer your radiation treatment plan.

CT Planning

Our radiation therapists will work out the best way to position you for your treatment. They will also take CT scans of the part/s of your body needing treatment.

Dosimetry

Our radiation therapists will use special software to design a radiation therapy plan unique to you.

Quality Assurance

We perform checks to ensure that your plan meets international standards. This process involves radiation oncologists, medical physicists and radiation therapists.

Treatment

We deliver your radiation therapy treatment using a linear accelerator and take utmost care to ensure proper positioning. Additionally, we perform regular X-rays to verify that your positioning is accurate and precise.

Clinical Trials & Research

As an integral part of the healthcare team, we contribute to clinical trials by collecting data and participating in research aimed at improving patient care and treatment outcomes.
